The poetry collection centering around mental and chronic illness (Still, I Rise) is moving along.

It’s gearing up to be longer than the horror collection (We Don’t Die). So far, I think it’s about 50 poems, but I’m going to be adding about 10 more (approx) that are brand new. Hot off my keyboard, so to speak.

I’m thinking late July for a release date.

I anticipate selling this on Amazon for Kindle and independently selling digital and a limited number of physical copies.

Since it’s been moved up from November, I’ve decided to release a brief collection of poetry on living with illness during the holidays instead. This one may be a mix of poetry and poetic verse or just plain messages of love because the holidays are hard for many.

They definitely are for me, and unfortunately, my birthday is smack dab in the middle of the season. This year, it’s on Thanksgiving. Ugh.

So, I do want to release those positive words into the world in November still.

If I’ve gotta be chronically ill, might as well spend a lot of my bedrest writing, right?

In summary:

  • July – Still, I Rise
  • September – We Don’t Die
  • November – Holiday Collection
