According to Mike Flanagan, who has brought us great horror like The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, had this to say about horror fans:
[They] have an outlet for a lot of… darkness. And so, by and large, horror fans are among the most well-rounded and sympathetic and empathetic human beings. And [they’re the] kindest beings and happiest human beings that I meet.
How do you feel about this quote?
As a huge horror fan and horror writer, I really relate to what he’s saying. I’ve met tons of horror fans, and I agree that we’re kind and empathetic as a group.
