Do you vote in political elections?

The lesser evil is still evil.

I don’t appreciate being put in a position where I must vote for whoever sucks the least instead of who is best.

That being said, that’s the position I find myself in, and if I don’t vote, and the greater evil wins, I’m complicit in that.

So, yes. I vote for the lesser evil, knowing the whole thing is rotten and we will eventually have to tear it down and rebuild it. Knowing times have changed, and things haven’t caught up to them yet politically. Knowing the reckoning will be rough.

I vote every chance I get because I don’t get to complain about a single thing if I’m doing nothing, not even the simple act of voting, to try and change anything.

I could never go into politics myself, not even local ones, so this is how I try to effect change.

Key word being try.

If I become well enough, I’d like to be more of a community advocate. In the interim, I vote.
