There’s never been a creature of the night
more appealing in your sight
in the glow of the bright moonlight,
that makes you want to taste new heights,
flying in the sky with the starlight.
Come with me, and you just might
get a taste of immortality tonight.
If a fear of falling gives you a fright
I’ll rest you in a graveyard just right,
lie next to you with skin and teeth so white,
kiss you so deeply your pulse takes flight.
Get ready, darling; here comes the vampire bite.
You came looking for love.
I came to taste your blood.

This one will definitely be in the upcoming horror collection. Vampires make up a good portion of the ‘non-human’ narrators in the book.
I write a lot about vampires as an author, but they are different from any others that I’ve seen in fiction so far.
