Being bipolar, I’m used to the lows that inevitably come.
When you’re bipolar, your fight for your life is never done.
I am bipolar, more unstable than some,
also sometimes soul-crushingly numb.
Let me tell you, being bipolar is no fun –
not even with the mania that comes with type one.
It’s crucial that I remember the dark skies give way to the sun,
and that better days will also inevitably come.
If you’re down now, do your best to cope,
and, no matter what happens in this life,
don’t ever surrender your last shred of hope.
